Title IX Support Specialist
Kimberly joined the Office of Diversity and Equity (ODE) as a Title IX Support Specialist in May of 2015. Kimberly assists with investigations of complaints of sex discrimination, sexual assault, sexual harassment, stalking, and intimate partner violence. Kimberly also assists with collecting and analyzing data and information about Tile IX trends and issues. In addition, Kimberly helps with the development and facilitation of various UConn education, awareness, and prevention programs and campaigns.
Prior to joining the ODE, Kimberly worked for three years with Post University in various roles in Student Affairs, including Residence Life, Admissions, and the University’s Counseling Center. She also assisted in developing and maintaining Post University’s Sexual Misconduct and Title IX policies. Kimberly’s research and professional interests include preventative programming efforts for sexual misconduct, and student leadership opportunities.
Kimberly earned both a Bachelor’s of Science in Biology degree and a Master of Education degree with a concentration in Higher Education Administration from Post University, where she was involved as a student in Residence Life, Athletics, Student Government, and Student Activities. She is currently pursuing her Doctorate of Education at Northeastern University with a concentration in Organizational Leadership.
